About the comedians.

Tina Cruz is a multidisciplinary artist, comedian, and writer known for her sharp, introspective humour that skillfully explores the intersections of cultural identity, family dynamics, and personal experiences. She is the founder and co-producer of the weekly show @comedyonmackay and has performed at notable venues across Canada and the United States. A seasoned performer, Tina has honed her craft through training at The Second City and Montreal Improv.

Lou Laurence is a Montreal-based, award-winning singer, comedian, songwriter, producer, and improviser described by Radio Canada as, “a breath of fresh air and energy.” In 2024, she toured,  Love, Sharks & Frenching: a hot date w/ Lou Laurence across Canada. She toured It’s Time to Love Lou Laurence to the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Newfoundland & Labrador Sketchfest, and Montreal Sketchfest. She was also featured at Toronto’s Comedy is Art festival and Montreal’s DéBark Improv Festival.
Monica Hamburg is a comedian, producer, voice-actor, and writer.
She produces “Pornomedy” & co-produces (with Jennifer-June Chapman) “Funny Over 40: Exceptional & Exhausted”. She’s appeared in a number of festivals, including Just for Laughs Northwest, Off-JFL Montreal, had her solo show “$50 Future” at NYC’s SoloCOM, and was chosen as one of the “Bestival of the Festival” at Nashville’s Broken Record Show. She’s also contributed stories to “The Stories We Don’t Tell” book.
Abby Stonehouse is a stand-up comedian/writer/producer/podcaster. Her storytelling comedy style juxtaposes her hopeful and honest approach to life with the horrific nitty-gritty of reality. Abby made her OFF-JFL/Zoofest debut in the summer of 2018 and again in 2022 & 2023. In May 2019 she performed and co-produced Montreal’s first fully accessible comedy show; Comedy for a Cause: Accessibility for All. This show happened again this year in September 2022 and at Zoofest in 2023, and it is now called Access Comedy. As a comedian with hearing loss, this show was near and dear to her heart. She is the creator and producer of the Montreal comedy show GET FXCKED. She is also the co-producer of Comedy on Demand (formally known as Lawn Laughs). If that isn’t enough she has a new podcast called House of Stone (as seen at Gigglefest, Ladyfest and Just for Laughs) and A Horrific Evening Podcast
Raajiee is a standup comedian whose observations cause quite the stir at family reunions. She’s been featured on Just for Laughs, ComediHa, Zoofest, OFF-JFL and CBC gems. Also 2023 Montreal Gazettes artist of the year. But none of that matters because her parents still think she’s a motivational speaker.
